A new patent from PlayStation has given us a sneak peek into the upcoming DualShock 5 controller's design, and it looks like it will allow users to use an attachable adaptor to charge the controller wirelessly.

Sony filed the patent last year with the World Intellectual Property Organization, but now it's available for public viewing. That includes a description of the product with pictures.

According to the patent, Sony are developing "A wireless charging adapter that can snap onto a computer game controller can be inductively coupled to a charging base to wirelessly recharge a battery in the controller."
